Lilly's Trip to the Lands of Adventure is an adventure book. Lilly and her friends take the wrong train on a school field trip and find themselves in a strange land controlled by the Witches of Worry.

In each land, Lilly and her friends confront people who have been debilitated by the witches, because the witches have made them worry about particular types of things - such as saying things correctly or being on time.

Lilly saves the lands by learning that faith can overcome worry, in particular faith in unexpected good fortune.
